Stem cell research as it stands today is no longer a moral or ethical issue. Stem cells can be derived from a variety of sources outside of embroyos such as skin, amniotic fluid and placental blood.
Do to the aforementioned stem cell research no longer impacts potential life removing all of the moral or ethical implications.
I believe it is a moral issue when it involves the death of embryos and cloning. Especially since stem cells are plentiful in umbilical cord blood. I would be all for a facility that is interested in doing stem cell research in providing their local maternity wards with the equipment to store umbilical cord blood. I also believe in the Federal guidelines against cloning.
nope. not at all. we can get the stem cells from adults. dont tear apart babies. honestly.

No, it should be a non-issue. The only people who have a problem with stem cell research is those who don’t understand what it is. I have yet to talk to one person who can actually articulate why they think it’s morally objectionable to do stem cell research.
People are always afraid of what they don’t know.

I think if the research is used to aid in finding cures for illness and disease for the individual from which the stem cells come from then by all means it should be used. But to used the stem cell research simply for cloning just to solve curiosity then absolutely not! We are going to create something that’s going to turn on us and eat us! (insert laughter here)!
