i support him even tho im australian,

dont listen to the christians n shit, no1 cares about your opinion anymore

Nothing will stand in the way of progress, if we don’t take the lead someone else will.

YES YES YES

I can not believe we had a ban to begin with….very stupid

they ban things that SAVE lives and lift bans on things that TAKE lives

you make sense out of it, i can not

The ban is stupid. **** stupid people. Progress

Almost everything in that article is wrong or misleading and the grammar is bad. Reuters should do better.

There is not a ban on stem cell research. There is a limitation on the stem cell lines that our tax payer money can be directed towards.

And while I do support research into stem cells, I also recognize that there are good reasons to direct this towards adult stem cells and to keep federal money out of it.

Absolutely, 500%.
My husband has MS, and studies overseas are showing stem cell treatment may work.
The “reason” behind prohibited federal funding was supposed to be due to the false idea that using EMBRYONIC cells promoted abortion. Never mind that it is false.
