Well it’s about bloody time.

I’m pretty sure nobody wants their country to lag behind on scientific progress.

Think about it.

He better start making changes before somebody calls the klan on him!

J/k. Racism is bad.

Geez. Finally.

About time.

No, but someone needed to.

THANK FUCKING GOD! I can’t stand to see good science stymied by morons who use religion to justify hating something (while conveniently ignoring the fact that wrath and pride are listed in the bible sins, by the way).

Yes, thank God.

excellent, the usa should lead the world in this science not follow it!

Bush & Co did a *LOT* of damage to this country that Obama is going to try to undo.

I’m proud to have helped put him in office.

At the next election when the liberal cycle has run its course, the conservative buffoon who gets elected will just undo. Americans just swing back and forth between liberal and conservative like a pendulum.

By anonymousmoomoo on July 26th, 2009 at 1:53 pm

hmm good and bad!
good because obviously it furthers scientific thing an dhelps alot of lives,
but bad because what if the stem cells mutate and control there bodies , or turn into hunch bac clone beings =O

By truepatriot89 on July 28th, 2009 at 12:21 am

i dont care let thier wrongs rest on thier shoulders, its not even a issue of being christian or not isnt stem cell stuff killing phetuses?

would be pretty cool to beable to grow a arm back on if i get it shot off though.

Common sense has prevailed.
This could be the greatest advance in medical history.

That’s what happens when sanity is restored to the white house.

I think that the ban has had a silver lining. It has forced researchers to find alternative sources of stem cells that we would not have thought of if we had gone completely down the aborted-fetus path. I note that a whole new industry of collecting stem cells from teeth has newly emerged.

By tiedye_dude on August 4th, 2009 at 1:11 pm

Yes, it is great news.

What a stupid headline. Stem-cell research was never banned.

Good, this country has the potential to be a world leader in genetic science.

yup

we are in for a LOOOOOONG 4 years

Kp
