A few days ago I started looking for information related with how can stem cells could help on healing acne scars. I want you to know which 2 articles led me to make the conlcusions from which I’m going to ask later on. I found two brief articles. One that directly mentioned what I was looking for, but didn’t explicitly say how was the proceedure done. You can find the article on:

The second one I found it interesting cause it talked about the difference between a scarring process and the regenerative one, and how the second one was a more effective “healing process” that diminished the possibilities of producing scars or damaged tissues.

So here starts what I want to know. Imagine you’ve got 2 persons willing to get rid of their acne scars (one of which is me). Both of them decide to go through a rough carbon dioxid Laser treatment, which now a days is the technique that almost guarantees the better results. But only one of them decides to complement its laser treatment with a stem cell therapy, that is, with it’s own adult stem cells produced from it’s own fat tissue. How would the healing process develope on both patients? Post-operation recovery time? What could both patients expect? Would the healing process of the one having stem cells injected all over his face, be a regenertive (free of scars) process or a scarring one? Would there be a difference on having the stem cells injected just before or just after the laser?
